About this site, how to use and navigate around the site, what to do if you have a question about the site and about the interactive parts of the site.
This website utilises a few different tools to help you find your way around and to get you to the information you're after. On each page you'll find a number of elements you can use to navigate through the page - we've detailed them below
At the top of each page (including this one) you'll see the Film New Zealand logo - clicking on this will send you back to the homepage.
Just below the Film New Zealand logo at the top of the page you'll see a number of links - if you run your mouse cursor over these you'll see they change colour and by clicking on one of these you'll be sent to one of the main areas within the site.
Once you've made a selection from the primary navigation you'll see a new menu appear on the left-hand side of the page. This menu contains a list of each of the pages or sub-sections within the site - selecting one of these links will display a new page detailing that particular entry.
You may find that when the new page loads the right-hand side menu now shows a number of new entries each marked with a small red arrow - these are links to further pages within this second level of navigation. These links may link to parts of the page you're looking at or they may link to entirely sperate pages - either way they'll help to get you to the right page, so look out for them.
At the bottom of this column you'll see a link that says "Print this Page" - clicking on this link will display a standard printer options window, allowing you to make any quick alterations to your printer's settings before you print a copy of the page. You'll notice that pages on this site look a little different when they're printed; this is because we've designed this site to continue to look really good when you print out a page and most importantly not to use up all of you printer's ink or toner.
After you've navigated through a number of pages you may notice the bread crumb trail sitting atop the central area of the page.
The breadcrumb trail will look something like this:
Home > Introducing New Zealand > About New Zealand
Each of the terms separated by a > symbol is what we call a breadcrumb - you can use any of the links in this trail of breadcrumbs to quickly get back to a part of the site you've been looking at.
At the bottom of each page you'll see a number of helpful links - including a link to this page.
These are provided to give you some background on the site and how it works, on the terms and conditions for using this site and to give you a chance to make a comment about the site.
If you've got a question that isn't addressed by this page you can use the Site Feedback link here or at the bottom of the page and we'll endeavour to answer it and to update this page with the information.
If you've got a more specific question about Film New Zealand and how we can help you click on the Contact Us link and fill out the form to send your query in.
Parts of this site are enhanced by the Flash plugin - you can download the plugin from the Adobe website.
As the site has been designed with accessibility in mind you will still be able to use the site without the Flash Plugin - be aware though that some parts of the site will lack some of their interactive features.
