Film New Zealand seeks applicants for Chief Executive Officer

Film New Zealand is a key player in the New Zealand screen production industry. The CEO has a pivotal role to play in ensuring that New Zealand is an attractive destination for the international screen production industry.
Relationship management will go a long way in this position as it requires someone to work closely with the Board to set the strategic direction. It also requires someone who can build positive relationships and influence others in the industry. It will be advantageous to have experience working collaboratively with government departments and local government to ensure ease of filming within NZ.
The position calls on diverse management, marketing, financial and human resource skills. This role leads the organisation in developing, co-ordinating and implementing the strategic plan. Having sound business acumen and a financial background to formulate budgets and financial strategies will be valuable. The calibre of candidate we expect to apply for this role will have global marketing and promotional experience. A strong understanding of the global screen Industry would be highly advantageous.
